Asplenium x Kenzoi is our new favorite fern. This is an unusual miniature fern in the Bird’s Nest Fern family. The fronds have a “tail like” leaf extension on the ends. When mature, it also forms little plantlets on the tips of the “tails”. It is easy to grow as long as you keep it in a warm shady area and soil slightly moist.

LIGHT: Direct sun will cause your bird’s nest fern to meet an untimely end. Keep the light filtered and subdued, but not completely shady. Consider a bright, north-facing window.
WATER: As with most other ferns, consistent watering is essential to keeping this plant alive. Water when topsoil is dry.
